Hi everyone,

My wife misspelled her last name on DS 260 form online and submitted it. Can this be unlocked by NVC or we have to wait till the interview? Our case is still with NVC we did not submit all document yet. Since NVC did not forward to embassy or did not even verified and accept it, can they unlock it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reply and suggestion. I called NVC, they do nothing, they told me it has to be corrected on the day of interview. They suggested me to write a letter give it to the consular officer as well as mention it.  I am afraid if this does not get corrected there will be an issue, first it will not match with her passport second every department ( like social security office) will receive it incorrect .
