Anyone have any feedback on a K1 hung up at National Visa Center.  I have been told that processing at NVC takes up to 2 months but unless I'm mistaken I have seen most cases leave NVC within a week or so. If you have any 411 on the time it usually takes to get through NVC please share...

K-1s are not processed at the NVC. The approved petitions arrive there from USCIS, are allocated a case number appropriate to the embassy that will be handling the visa and then shipped out to the embassy. Whole thing takes a few days at most.

The people you you hear talking about the NVC processing are those who are applying for an immigrant visa. NVC pre-processes immigrant visas for the embassies and this can take some time, 7 weeks and 1 day in my case, several months in other cases.
