Administrative Processing 221g After Interview

My husband was issued a 221(g) white slip stating he needed proof he had no pending deportation case. Since there is no case, we couldn't get proof. Finally, our lawyer obtained a letter from a court official stating there were no pending cases for my husband. The 221g was issued 4/17 and we will send the proof plus his passport as requested tomorrow (4/22) to the cargo expreso office when they open. I have read AP can take a few days and have read it can take months or even years. Does anyone know if there is an order to this chaos? I would think the packets get processed on a first in first out basis or perhaps an scale from easy to hard? Does anyone have a clue?

For all those who are undergoing through 221(g) process. Please be confident and stay positive.

I had gone through this depressing phase(though it was very short period)

EB3 category. My interview was on 09th April 2019 at Mumbai, India. At the end of the interview officer gave me 221(g), and asked to submit the details as per the letter along with original Passports(Yes if your letter asks to submit passports too, its a very big positive sign, trust me).

I submit the details on 18th April 2019 through drop box. ON 23rd April 2019 (yes just within a week) ceac status changed to Issued. On 25th April 2019, i received passports with Visa stamped, along with sealed cover which we need submit at port of entry.

So hope for the best. Good luck all.
