N400/I-751 Combo - Service Request?

Hello,

I am worrying about the chance of my interview being rescheduled and wanted some advice on this. I am scheduled for my N400 Interview in San Bernardino in 3 weeks. This is great news and I am excited to go. However, my I-751 is still pending. I called USCIS and spoke with a level 2 officer to ask if this would be a joint interview and they said it’s for N400 and my I-751 is still at CSC. They then put in a case inquiry to have the two files combined at the San Bernadino office for this interview date so they can be adjudicated together.

This request is still pending but now I’m super paranoid they might reschedule my interview and wondering if I should have just said nothing or if I should cancel the inquiry? Thanks so much.

My wife has her interview Nov 20, with pending I-751, we never called but from what I read it should not change your interview date, they just would not be able to adjudicate it at that time, but if they are not already planning to do a combo interview you could ask if its possible to be done and be sure to take your spouse along just in case
