How long does it take to get your passport back

Hello my fiancé interviewed on the 6th of this month and got verbally approved by the IO now its been 20 days already and haven't received the passport yet with the visa on it. The online status still says Application Received and last update for 24th of this month not sure what is the time frame is the IO told my fiancé that it will take 3 to 5 business days but clearly that's not true since its already 3 weeks past the interview already.

 

Any advise or experience anyone can share.

A couple of possibilities, is your fiance picking it up in ISB or another post? It does take a bit longer to arrive at other locations

 

Also it is entirely possible to land in AP even if "approved" during the interview

Normally it's returned with in 14 business days. You can call and see what they tell you but, probably get the normal "have to wait" response.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date. 

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Yeah my fiancé is picking up from the center near by her house not where she interviewed. Yeah I heard the status normally change to Application Received the AP then issued. Hope they can send the passport soon since it's getting close to a month now and I am getting worried specially all went well with the interview and the IO verbally said its approved and congratulate my fiancé. Regards

Today we completed 3 weeks still no news on the passport the website still says Application Received. I have a question once we receive the passport does my fiancé needs to pay any immigrant fee before traveling to US apart for what we have paid already?

 

Please share your experience.

Kashan Is your online status says Administrative processing mine says Application Received since last 3 weeks now. Interview questions were mostly about me and about the relationship all went well and got verbally approved from the IO and was told that will get the passport in 3 to 5 business days but its been 3 weeks no update yet. Hope we get our passport by next week since it will be a month. Regards

So is it still on AP ?or did they deny the visa cuz in the previous post you said that your online status says it has been refused?
