Best way to secure checked in luggage

both the belt and the wrap will help to prevent your suitcase from opening inside the plane or on the claim when thrown by the airport workers. If you're worried about stuff being stolen, just go with the wrap, it's usually too much trouble to open it quickly and you will know it happened right away and can report it in the airport vs coming home and discovering something has been taken.

 

I usually use the wrap to secure my luggage. Plus your suitcase will last longer, it saves it from the outside scratches/damage when thrown.

I left mine as is, I always have done, and had no issues. I once traveled in a group where about half the group got theirs wrapped and half didn't. Not one of the bags arrived wrapped.
