Hi all,

My green card is expiring on 9/14/2018. I filed I-751 in June. I received I-797 in June and did my biometrics in July.

My husband and I are ready to move out from parents home(address we put for I-751 physical and mailing address) in September to our new place. But I can still get mails from parents since they are still living there.

Q1) Do I have to change my address AR-11 online?

Q2) Do I have to update my state ID with new extension date, ID said "Temp Visitor expires 9/13/2018" but ID expires in 2019 and do I have to change state ID address?

Thanks!!!

You don’t have to change your address but it’s better to keep it updated. Things get lost when you’re not living in the same place that you get mail. You have to change your ID, but I don’t think they will just on the receipt notice so you’re probably better off waiting for the new gc in the mail.

I already filed AR11 online in OCT. But I haven't done I-865 because I don't whoes name to use.
Does my husband ( US citizen) need to file I-865 address change ?? but he wasn't my affidavit support ( our friend) when i applied I-130?

Is my husband still consider the sponsor?

thanks.

Address change isn't only for the purpose of mail.

it's so USCIS knows where you are at.

Also, your husband is your main sponsor no matter what, he will need to file for an address change.

Spouse = Main Sponsor

Anyone else = Co-Sponsor

I am filling out the I-856 asking about "effective date of change of address"  it was 9/28/2018 when i filed AR-11. Will that be a problem if i just fill I-856 now?
