Read what others have said here. If you haven't had your interview scheduled yet at least you have time to get it. I personally would rather be safe than sorry. I am making my husband go get it. I spoke to another person here on these forums and he said he went to go get the new one from the RCMP and they didn't charge him for it since it was the privacy act (so there's at least that!).

Yeah, I just called my husband and told him I'm going to go get it done. 

I'd much rather be safe than sorry.
