Hi

Euro, I appereciate you very much for finding that thread, But it appears that this is a person already in India...

The problem here is my husband is in Canada now and hasn't been in India since 1999..And we fear it is going to be very hard to obtain one from there..We have the one from Canada already..Would you or anyone on here know if this is going to create a problem if he can't obtain the one from India? I believe

that the USA had got a police certificate on him when they issued him a F1 visa in 1999 and he hasn't been back to India since..I don't know if this would make a differance..They can see from his passport that he

has not been there..I don't know I am so freakin STRESSED!!!!!!!!! I can only hope it gets better..

Thank You

Michelle

Ok I found that the Consulate-General Of India in Toronto can take the application for the police certificate

for a $20.00 fee and it takes 6-8 weeks to get it back....I will call Montreal and see what they have to say..

thanks for everyone's help...
