We filed our AOS (I-485, I-131, I-765) on May 12th. Received and RFE in June, took two months to respond to the RFE and we sent it off on August 10th and was received on August 13th. It's now August 30th, and our status still has June 5 from the date they initiated the RFE, which is now beyond 87 days (cut off time)

Is there a way to follow up with the case?

My wife and I just want to have her AP by January since we are planning and to go to the Philippines by then...

We received an RFE also and it took over 2 months for something to change. We had to call to find out what was going on and they said it was ready for an interview but it didn't change online for nearly 3 months. We're still waiting for an interview and EAD (132 days now).

May I ask what additional evidence they needed? and how long did you guys take to respond? and what changed in two months for?

I'm assuming it will take longer for us too since they requested the latest year income tax from my first joint sponsor, and that joint sponsor didnt want to file his taxes (idk why) so I found another joint sponsor and redid the whole joint sponsor application...so instead of them receiving a document, I sent them a new joint sponsor application...hopefully that wouldnt complicate things...

They said my joint sponsor doesn't make enough (he does). I called USCIS who admitted it was a mistake to send out an RFIE but to respond to it anyways. I just re-sent everything and they accepted it. I replied within a week! And for 2 months, they didn't change anything online (Received on May 30th) so I finally called and was told we were in line for an interview. It literally changed to "Ready for Interview" like last week and according to the website, it was changed on July 24th.

I would call and ask next week. And ask about your priority date because sometimes RFE resets the clock :(

Hopefully that won't be the case! I saw a few people who got a response immediately, idk why our case took so long.

Unforunately no. We're still waiting :(
