Hello all,

I am the US petitioner and there's a possibility I will be moving soon. I know I'd need to file my address change and have seen some things online about needing to do so within 10 days. My question is... Is this just for purposes of sending mail? What if it takes longer than 10 days?

I'm going to bump this since I haven't gotten a response yet. This time in a bit more detail. The information I've found says I'm required to report my address change... and of course I will be doing that as I want to ensure my mail gets to me safely.

"Not notifying the USCIS that you’ve moved can lead to delays in a decision on your case and is technically a misdemeanor crime.

Most non-citizens must report a change of address to the USCIS within 10 days of moving within the United States or its territories."

However, I am non a non-citizen as I am the US petitioner. My question really just boils down to that I'm not finding any guidelines for the US citizen in regard to the I-129f and address changes, and I want to make sure I do everything I am obligated to do, and also everything to be super sure that I won't miss getting my mail.
