Medical results not getting to the embassy before interview

So I had my medical exam at Knightsbridge on Friday 6th July and they've told me to get some more info from my GP... who I have literally been pestering since the MINUTE I booked the medical weeks ago and they still didn't give me what I asked for... so I've sent Knightsbridge some old letters I had myself and they're currently looking it over, but they say it can take up to three working days, and i still might have to go back to my GP after all that.

 

My interview is a week from today (Monday 16th July) so I'm guessing the medical results won't get there on time. Has this ever happened to anyone? how much did it affect the interview and how much longer did you have to wait before the visa was issued?

 

I'm stressing myself out so much about this so if anyone has anything similar happen to them, I'd love to know.

Try not to panic im in the exact same situation as you right now - my medical was on the 29th June, my letter from GP wasnt detailed enough so i also had to pester my GP surgery for another letter ASAP. I emailed it to Knightsbridge on Friday & was told the same as you “allow 3 working days”

Still go to your interview - once the embassy receive your medical it will be proccessed

 

Ive also been stressing & i cant wait for all this to be over!

So long as having the medical be late won't stop me from getting the actual visa lol. Good to know someone else knows the feeling though, thanks for this. GPs are such a pain, for me it's like talking to a brick wall to try and get them to do anything :/

Do not stress too much or worry about your medical results getting to the Embassy. 

 

it is possible to be approved without your medical results being at the embassy. However the Consular officer will mention to you that the approval is pending receipt of the medical results.  So your case will go into AP (Administrative Processing) for a few days pending the medical results being sent to the embassy then when they receive them it will change and they will release / issue the visa. 

 

but seeing as though you can re-schedule your  Embassy interview and there are still a lot of spaces available for this month / beginning of next month you can always re-schedule but do what you feel works best for yourself.

You will just be im administrative processing until they receive your medical results

 

I rang Knightsbridge today to see if my medical had been sent off but their computers were down so im going to call again tomorrow. The receptionist did say to me “no news is good news” & its working day number 2 since they received my extra information so fingers crossed mines been sent! It will probably not get to the embassy in time (20th July interview) but aslong as im approved thats all that matters to me! Its been so stressful/worrying thanks to my incompetent GP surgery!
