You will probably receive an interview.

But I never recieved an official paper stating that the case was transfered to another office. I heard that if you didn't get an official paper that means the case was just moved from one desk to another persons desk and if you recieved an official paper that one means you'll probably get an interview. I have no recieved a paper stating that.

Is that correct or was I infromed wrong?

My wife's case took almost 18 months. Once we received the notice that it was transfers the original recipe number started to work. We received approval about a month or so after the possible transfer with out an interview or anything. It is good your case was transferd. You may be close. See our timeline for dates.

Thank you so much for finding time to respond back to my question. I've never recieved a transfer notice or anything like that. When I called USCIS they said my case was transfered in February 26 but then when I looked on the original recipt number the  status said "Recieved at the local office on April 9th.". So I"m a little confused about that. Also, again I never recieved an official letter stating that it was transfered or anything of that sort. I'm so stressed and confused right now.

I filed aug 2016, got RFE Jan 2018, case was transferred to local office may 1st and got my letter scheduling interview 2 days later.

So that probably means u will get an interview notice.

I don't know if that means an interview or not but my case has been transfered since February 26 to the local office and when I tried to track the original recipt number it says "Transfered at the local office on April 9th.". and it's june right now and I still haven't heard anything. I called USCIS to make sure I got it right again and yes on their behalf on the computers they see that my case was transfered on Feb 26 but when I track it is says "April 9th". It's confusing cause I'm like - IT TOOK THEM TWO MONTHS TO TRANSFER MY CASE?

Did you get approved yet? Or did you get an interview letter?

It's wild that in two days after being transfered you got an interview letter. Congrats on your approval!

who told you it all happened in two days?

I waited a year and nothing came through, so I followed up with my senator, she told me that my case had been transferred and I will be scheduled to appear for the i751 interview.

If you marriage is real, you will pass.

Also, does the status change online if they ask you for an interview?

like do you see it online before you see it on the mail?

My status never changed online until I received approval. it was from "We received your cases" to "your card is in production“
