Hey so I know this question is probably in the incorrect place but if anyone can help it's very appreciated.

I filed my AOS, work and travel permit last year. I have the two permits but my case says that they are ready to schedule an interview and I need to wait to hear from them. The AOS was received by them September 2017.

My question is, if my work and travel permit expire after 12 months, what do I need to do?

I dont work and neither can I travel now due to Ill health but I want to keep my driving lisence.

Do I have to file a complete new petition and have to pay the full amounts or do I do something different now?

Also I am in Phoenix so if my filing office Phoenix or is it somewhere else, as I know now we all send it to a different place.

It says its 14 to 22 months. That seems like such a long time. My permits run out in something like October so trying to get a headstart on understanding what I need to do should they expire before I receive an interview and my GC.

TIA :)

File for a renewal EAD/AP (765 + 131). You can file as early as 180 days before your current EAD/AP card expires.

https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/employment-authorization-document

Include a copy of your current EAD/AP, as well as the I-797 receipt (NOA1) for the I-485. As an adjustment applicant, no filing fee is required.
