Hey, I'm just filling out my N400 and the biographical section is asking for previous employers and education. I do not know the exact dates or my previous employment, just the month and year, Does this matter, should I contact my previous employers?

Like everything in immigration, the more accurate information you can provide the better. Not sure if not knowing your exact date will cause you any trouble. Hopefully not.

I remember I had to check my previous resumes, check my paycheck stubs and my paychex account to double check my employment starting date. Like you said, you could try to call your previous employers for this information. Hopefully they can help you.  If not, do the best you can.
