Im about to have a nervous breakdown as I sent an AOS package to the Chicago lockbox on March 9, USPS tracking site says Available for Pickup since March 12. I received an email requesting redelivery off package by March 26, or package will be returned to me. Post office in Chicago told me that package should have been picked up on March 13 2018 but check still hasn’t been cashed.  I had sent K1 visa package to Dallas lockbox with signature confirmation with no issues, but I hope this package is not returned to bme if unclaimed by next Monday. Package was sent to USCIS lockbox in Chicago certified mail with signature confirmation. What else can I do? I’m utterly frustrated... PLEASE HELP.... Thanks for any replies.

When sending something to a lockbox, one shouldn't include signature confirmation. A lockbox is a PO box and clearly nobody would be on standby at the box to sign for packages. There's always a second filing address (for each form) for people who use express courier services or ship with signature confirmation. At this point, if the Chicago office does not pick up the package or USPS does not help you deliver it to the mailroom, then you're likely to get your package back and you'll need to re-ship it. 

 

Try to contact USPS again and ask them.if they could re-route the package to the following address:
