Hi All

I had applied for my legal name change in n400 application. Cleared naturalization interview on Jan 11 2018. Was informed by IO that my file would be transferred to courthouse as only a judge has the capability to change my legal name.

Legal Name requested to be changed from Marriage name back to Maiden name without divorce decree.

Just now made a call to courthouse and they are informing that they never receive any file from USCIS, in fact I need to make a separate application to courthouse directly paying $120 fees.

Very confused and since there is no contact number of charlotte field office, I am not even able to ask them what is the status on my application.

Can anybody please help on my situation?
