Okay so I did went to Atlanta and had my infopass last month and they really didn't help at all. What a waste of time to travel there. They basically just told me to wait and that it'll take somewhere between 6 months up to 1 year to complete the AOS process.

So we went to the congressional route & contacting Senator Terry Everett on April 18. He then contacted the Atlanta office on April 20. My husband called the USCIS customer service again yesterday although I warned him that it wouldn't help much anyway. This time he got to talked to a higher officer (he got transferred to 2 different people) and that lady was able to pull up our data and said it is currently under a review since April 27 (the case status online still didn't change, last touch was February 20!). She then put in a service request (the third one, btw) and actually gave us the number for it. Also, she did said the same thing that technically the whole AOS process takes about 6 months-1 year and she said Atlanta office is really behind.

Well, the thing is we got that RFE for Form I-693A right on the spot during our interview. And now my husband brought up a question that really intrigue me...you see when we went to the civil surgeon to get that Form filled he kept 'warning' us that they will need a full medical exams, bla bla bla. At the end when he handed us that sealed envelope he said "I cannot guarante that they will approve your case without a full medical exam." We just brushed that off because clearly what we were told is I DO NOT NEED a full medical exams and I CANNOT get more shots coz I was pregnant at the time. Now, we're wondering could that doctor wrote something on Form I-693A like "Refuse to do a full medical exam" and that might cause all these delays? Or we're just plain having too much conspiracy theories in our head?

Did he give you a copy of your Vaccination Supplemental form along with the sealed envelope? To be honest, I think the Civil Surgeon was just covering his #######.

That's what I regret the most not pressuring him to give us a copy before he put it in the sealed envelope. He left us in his examination room and just said he'll be right back. When he came back, he already put the form in a sealed envelope. To tell you the truth...that guy doesn't seem very professional to me but I just ignore it coz he's the closest civil surgeon we have around here.

No, we're stuck because of the RFE for Medical Examination Supplement (Form I-693A).

I don't understand using the standard 6 month to one year lingo on an already adjudicated case.

This file just needs pulled off the AO's desk and passed onto their supervisor for further movement up the food chain.

Your elected representative could force movement on your case - if they really wanted too.

I'm going to try and call the senator's office today and see what they've heard so far and told them about the whole medical exam thingy just incase they use that as an excuse. But come to think about it if they really want me to have a complete full medical exam, they should've send me a letter or say something about it.
