I'm not understanding the visa process with the Philippines. I'm not qualified to recieve a visa from a USA embassy.So I would like to get a visa waiver once in the Philippines.My main question is will they allow me in if my return ticket is past 21 days? I know they allow you to apply for a visa once in the Philippines so it seems that a return date must conflict in some way.Unless they dont care what your return date on the ticket is long as you have a departing flight? Can someone please help me with this issue?

Hi Wilhelm,

I booked a flight from Feb, 06 till June, 06 with no problems. Just make sure you renew your visa before the 21 days expire while your there (if you plan to stay longer) or they will hit you with a fine. Also make sure you have 650 pesos when leaving the Philippines for the departure tax.

06/04/07 Lawyer sent a follow-up letter regarding the status inquiry this office sent on March 2007. Sent via Certified Mail-RRR

06/11/07 Called Senators office again

06/12/07 Received letter from Senator stating Vermont is working on case.

06/13/07 Touch

06/13/07 Approved!

Foreigners here are allowed to stay for 21 days and this is renewable. If u plan to extend your vacation u have to inform the Bureau of Immigration in Manila before ur stay expired to avoid penalty of overstaying. So no prob if u stay longer just inform them so that there's no conflict when its time for u to leave the PI.

May 31, 2011~ Biometrics letter received sked June 1st

June 01,2011~ Biometrics appt. DONE!

June 23, 2011~ email notification scheduled for Testing and Interview

June 27, 2011~ received interview letter by mail

Aug 01, 2011~ interview at Atlanta GA, PASSED!

Aug 05, 2011~ Oath taking at 1pm

ROC TIMELINE

Nov. 30, 2009~mailed I-751 (VSC)

Dec. 03, 2009~Extension letter and NOA1 received

Jan. 04, 2010~ Biometrics at Metairie, LA

March 10, 2010~ approved!

March 13, 2010~ approval notice sent

My return ticket to the Philippines last year was 62 days after my arrival. No one even checked for my return date. On day 21 I went to the Dept. of Immigration in Olongapo and received my waiver in all of 10 minutes.
