Hi everybody. I have a question about the correction in my birth certificate. I am about to pass all the document i have for my mom's petition and i'm kinda worried about the correction since it is my mom's name. If ever they ask for Rfe, what supporting document should i give them?? I heard about "certificate of finality" but i dont know what is it and where to get it??

Hi you have to fix it first your mom's birthcertificate before you apply your petition. Like what i did as my daughter's beneficiary i fixed it first before she mailed form i 130. Finality paper is the paper done when correctioning your full name like first name middle name and surname. And you will see the annotation is indicated at the edge or under your newly birthcertificate. It is done from the national statistic office

It's quite long processing at around 3 months
