Received the attached article from a retired DHS Immigration and Customs Agent.  VAWA is necessary to protect immigrant spouses from abusive US sponsor husbands / wives, however, criminally minded immigrants can receive a Green Card by falsely claiming Domestic Violence to USCIS officials when the immigrant self petitions for a Green Card / Change in Status after separation / divorce.  Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA) is the focal point for Domestic Violence-Related Immigration Fraud; the paper says, "VAWA encourages Immigration Fraud."   Male and female Immigrant Spouses are briefed about VAWA before they arrive on a K-1 Fiance Visa.  Very alarming article.  Beware.

I know my sources are accurate.  Like I said, VAWA is NECESSARY, to protect honest immigrants who are abused by their American sponsor, however, the criminal minded Immigrant can use to lie that their spouse has abused them...no questions asked and they are granted a Green Card.  That is the point.
