HI VJ,

I have been working on getting my wife on as many of our accounts possible for our end of Nov interview.

So far I have:

-2 joint bank accounts

-Authorized Credit card user.

-Power/Gas Utility Bill

-Comcast Bill

-Beneficiary of 401k

-Beneficiary of life insurance

-Open enrollment document showing joint health care for 2018

Own car but CA requires an EAD for an ID/DL card to put her on.

The lease is in my name, however I am not sure if I can get her on, since I am the primary income earner and that's all the land lord cares about. I'm dont believe I can change this.

Is the joint lease needed?

Anthony

i think it looks good overall. Lease does not have to be joint but you can ask landlord to add her as a tenant living in there on the lease most places does this. if the landlord cannot do it then donn`t worry about it. You can explain it during your interview if the question comes about the lease.

Here is list for you for some additional evidence:

Evidence Showing Bona Fide Marriage:
☐ Joint IRS Tax Return Transcripts (if you have it).

☐ Birth Certificate of your children (if you have any).

☐ Joint Lease or Mortgage showing joint tenancy (if you have it).

☐ Joint Bank Statements. (Checking, Saving, Credit Cards etc.).

☐ Joint Utility Bills (Or Utility Bills showing the same address for each spouse)

 ☐ Joint Cell Phone Bills.

 ☐ Joint Car title.

 ☐ Joint Car Insurance.

☐ Life insurance showing each other as beneficiary.

☐ Retirement accounts showing each other as beneficiary.

☐ Health, dental Insurance showing you are on one another plan.

☐ Photographs (Weddings, Trips, Family gatherings, Friends)

☐ Affidavits from your family, friends having personal knowledge of your bona fides marriage.

I had what you have + joint lease contract for the interview.

I cannot judge how much evidence is considered to be enough. For my case though, the immigration officer asked most of the questions based on our joint lease out of piles of other evidences. She checked if both of our names are listed, asked about the leasing company, and even asked questions to each of us based on the lease contract - like "How many bedrooms do you have?", "How much do you pay a month?", and "How do you pay your rent?"
