Waiting For Interview

My wife just received the confirmation letter from the NVC this week, the 23 of October.. I am petitioning for her. Its states on the letter that we're missing two things, which she will have to bring with her to the interview. Nevertheless, the letter states that the NVC is preparing the interview date for us. How long do think we would have to wait for this interview?

Hello Jeruel,

 

It depends on the embassy of your country and the amount of Visas issued every month. Typically, it is anywhere between 1-3 months. I have heard from others that sometimes it take a week but in other cases over 3 months. Unfortunately, there is no exact timeline on when you will find out. I am waiting for ny husbands interview. My case was completed on 09/20/2017.

I'm missing proof of earnings. I sent in my tax returns but according to them that's not enough. What I"ll do is bring my payslips and job letter to the interview. My needs a police certificate from Colombia, which she can get online. That she also has to bring to the interview. We're pretty much set to go. We just have to wait.
