If people want their kids to have god in school, either pay to send them to parochial school or homeschool them. THAT IS ALL.

Agreed. I don't want my tax dollars being spent on education (religion) that I consider ignorant, offensive, and harmful to children. Keep public education public. If you consider public education to be the things I've listed above, then send your kids to jesus school.

I'm also wondering how having God in school would have helped in this case, since it was a university, the students are adults, AND Cho was not Christian. Just because the missionaries have destroyed every remaining culture on the planet doesn't automatically mean that every culture on the planet is now Christian.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

HAHAHAHA, oh man that's awesome. It wouldn't have helped, not one iota.

In my opinion...and I don't think I'm right, this is just what I think is going on...these problems are caused by lack of familial cohesiveness, lack of discipline, and the all-around a$$holiness that pervades Western society today...it is not unique to the United States but I believe we've been dealing with it at this level for longer. The cure for these problems is not Christianity; if it were that simple we'd have solved the problem long ago.

.... Just because the missionaries have destroyed every remaining culture on the planet

Could you explain to me how missionaries have "destroyed" any cultures?

Observing Christians in various countries, one finds that their cultural preferences (clothing, cuisine, etc) are more similar to their non-Christian neighbours than to European or American--or oft, even to nearly-neighbouring Christians!

Maybe not in YOUR state, but my mother remembers clearly being forced to pray in Connecticut and Texas.

My Grandmother told me about hot dogs costing a nickel, doesn't mean it had any bearing on present day.

Cherry stated that prayer had not been forced on American schoolchildren, which is absolutely incorrect.

 I remember a 'prayer time' in my public elementary school (Mentor, Ohio). It was just a short time where we could pray (silently) or not (silently).

Married on 11/21/06 in her hometown city Tumauini located in the Isabela province (Republic of the Philippines)
