I-134 Support Affidavit

Hi all,

I'm new to forums and just want to say first what a great place this is. I haven't participated until now but it's been a great help to me and my fiance. Being able to read about others' experiences has made our own journey down the visa road that much easier.

I was just wondering... I'm including a statement from my employer with the I-134 form regarding my employment. It will include the standard stuff, date of hire, nature of employment, salary, and the permanent status of my position.

I work on a horse farm and my living is also included as part of my job. I'm provided a two bedroom trailer on the farm property. I do not pay rent or most of the utilities. As my employer considers this part of my salary, should this be included in the statement as well? I don't feel like it could hurt to add that in but I don't know. What do you all think?

Real love stories never have endings...

Sure it wouldn't her but I'm not sure if that would count much.. unless your employer doesn't put it in but rather do some type of conversion value to $$... what they really look is your total earning.. if you are above that poverty guideline, you should be fine...

for mine, i sent my last tax return, bank letter and employer letter... well, good luck!!!

By the way, welcome to VJ!!

Thank you, bahiabrazil!

I guess it really won't matter then. My salary is just over $20k a year so it should be fine on its own. I'm including my tax returns for the last two years, the letter from my employer, and was thinking of throwing in a couple of my most recent pay stubs.
