Question about form 1099

Hello,

I came here on a K1 visa and now I am applying for a greencard. My Mother in law is a joint sponsor who is filing out an i-864 and my father in law is filing out an i-864A. They have their tax transcripts but my question was does my father in law need to submit a 1099 form for his social security and military retirement benefits? and does my mother in law need her W2s?

I've read that tax transcripts were enough, but I just noticed in the i-864 instructions that: If you provide a photocopy of your tax returns, you must include a copy of each and every FormW-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your returns. Do not include copies of these Forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your returns rather than a
photocopy unless you filed a joint Federal income tax return with your spouse.

They filed jointly but is this only if my mother in law was trying to sponsor me on her income alone? If my father in law also filled out an i-864A do they still need to provide their w2s or 1099s?
