Ok so just got married in august and i moved to the philippines with him since his work is here. We decided to go with the CR-1 visa since he didnt get enough leave from work to stay in the US long enough for the aos of the fiance visa. Anyways, i was researching the CR-1 and have a question about the financial support form. My husband works for a US based company that will be transfering him to the US once we get the CR-1. So he will already be employed when we return to the states. I do not currently have a job here in the philippines and even if i did get a job, it wouldnt be able to meet the minimum income requirement for the I-864. So my question is do i have to fill that out and have a joint sponsor or can he sponsor himself like with the fiance visa?
