Hi, my husband and I both received pr oath ceremony letter for the same date and time in July, that day we happened to be in Europe so we sent a letter explaining that. My oath ceremony got rescheduled but my husband's wasn't. Then he received an USCIS letter informing that he did not attend and that he would be rescheduled. My husband sent a letter explaining everything and providing proving documents, that we informed them that he could not attend, that mine was rescheduled but his wasn't... anyway the whole story is that we did everything is our hands to do things right, but even so, his petition was ignored and now, here we are... waiting, but for how long? did any of you receive the same letter telling to just wait so by definition you had to do nothing? how long did it take to get rescheduled? This is so frustrating, we did everything in our hands to do things right.

Trying to get an info pass is just not happening, they never have appointments available.

Please let me know if you were in the same situation and how things turned up for you.

Thanks

In your husband's case, an infopass would be the best way to go to get it all straightened out.  Better to talk face-to-face rather than rely on a letter mailed into USCIS...unfortunately you'll have to keep trying for appointments to open up.

If that fails, have your husband call them and request to speak to an L2 officer...don't deal with the regular customer service rep, they won't be able to tell him anything specific to his case.
