Hi,

My daughter had her interview last Aug 15. The Consul officer asked for more additional document like Proof of Domicile. She said that we should provide proof that my husband has the intent to live or be established in US. Like open a bank account, find a job or apply a driver's license.

This is our plan. My husband will go to US to open a bank account and apply cellphone line. We'll submit the ff:

  • Bank certificate
  • US CP line
  • Letter from the Credit card company that his father added him as an extension on his credit card
  • Letter that we will live in his parents house. (from his parents)
  • Letter to re-establish domicile (from my husband)

Would these be enough? And if we send all of it this month,or early September, would they question the date of bank certificate? Because it's just newly opened if ever.

Or is there anything we can add? He also have his Social Security Number.

Newly opened makes sense because he is newly moving to the US.

Is there furniture or money that you will be moving to the US?

He could register to vote. And apply for a driver's license.

Bank account and drivers license would be the big one I believe.  And letter from his parents about residency there would be helpful too.

No issue with all of this being fairly new, sort of expected I would think.
