Hey guys,

I'm confused as to whether we need to fill out the G-325a form as I haven't seen that in the USCIS instructions but I've seen it on peoples I-130 packages on VJ. Also my husband is the USC and I am over seas so does he need to send passport photos of me? Getting mixed information in different places :( Thanks in advance

The G-325A is no longer needed for I-130 petitions. Instead, you need the new form I-130A. This has replaced the G-325A for I-130s. 

 

Please read all of the instructions that can be downloaded from the USCIS I-130 page. The fact that you are asking this question suggests you gave not read the instructions. There could be other important documents or instructions that you have missed. 

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!
