Thank god my wife's visa was approved here today at Ciudad Juarez

Congrats!!!! I'm really happy for you guys and I cannot wait to hear how the interview went. Did they ask for the police certificate? Do you plan on staying at Juarez for the packet?

Awesome! So the interview was on 8/4/2017 and you received the packet on 8/8? If so, that was quick? Any issues during POE?

Yes it's pretty quick if you decide to stay in Juarez to wait for your packet.. no issue just be prepared to wait a long time to get your passport stamped it took about 3 hours to get my wife's stamp

And you pick up the packet where you do the biometrics right? I was thinking of having the packet sent to my wifes home state but if the turnaround is quicker at Juarez, I might as well just stay near the embassy.

Yes... if you don't have a place to stay I recommend you where we stayed the lady charges 50 dollars a day and she takes you where you need to go and you have access to kitchen and your own room and restroom

is it better to wait for your visa in Juarez ? or that's only if you are going back to the us from el paso?

I think it's better to wait at Juarez because you get your visa faster since you don't deal with DHL anymore you personally pick it up around the corner from the consulate where you do your finger prints

Oh I see well yeah I guess that's the faster way , One question do you know if after getting your visa do you have a certain limit of days to enter the US?
