My parents' interview at USEm is on 8/22.

Here are the documents I've gathered and will be sending to them. Please correct if a document needs to be presented in original copy at the embassy.

ORIGINAL:

- Passport (of both parents) + photocopy

- 2x2 photos

- Birth Certificate (of both parents) + photocopy

- My birth certificate (as the petitioner)

COPIES ONLY:

- Appointment letter

- DS 260 confirmation

- I-864

- I- 864 A

- Transcript of 2016 tax returns + 2016 W2s (no need to submit transcripts of the 2015 and 2014 returns, correct?)

- My passport

- My certificate of naturalization

- Husband's passport and birth certificate (for signing I-864 A)

Questions:

- Since I submitted the original AOS forms to NVC, do my parents only need to bring the photocopies at the interview? Or should I fill out and sign a new one? Same with husband's I-864 A? I know the interview letter from NVC states that these can be photocopies for as long as the signatures are not electronic, but some Filipino pre-screeners can be difficult.

- The NVC appointment letter specifically says that  ALL civil documents submitted to NVC must be in original copy at the interview. I'm assuming this refers to just the applicants' civil documents.

- Lastly, where and how can my parents register for a courier service?

Thank you.

Copies are fine unless the embassy instructions letter states they require originals.  (NBI, BC and CENOMAR and such all originals)

Normally the I-864 requires an original signature.

Follow the embassy instructions for what is required.

Should I sign the new I-864 with the same date as the one I submitted to NVC (April), or with the actual date?
