Hello, Can someone please confirm next steps for our I130 process.My wife filed for her mom and we got approved and case sent to NVC.My wife just set herself as the agent , form ds261 i believe and she was told that it will take about two weeks to process.Can you tell me what happens after that and how much its going to cost in fees and how long the process should take from this point out.Thanks.

Your wife, as the agent, should receive an email from the NVC with the invoice for the affidavit of support. I just made my payment over the weekend and it's $120. I guess after then, you have to wait for them to process the payment before you can start with the IV Processing.

And just to add to this......go to the CEAC website for your status check, you will need your case number for that....NVC will update your status and give you the necessary information and direction on what to do next
