Timeline

Sorry, I should have clarified a bit more. he called her, but she didn't answer. she doesn't answer numbers she doesn't know. he told me he wanted to call her, just to see if my story was true. he would have probably asked her the same questions he asked me. 

 

after he tried calling her and she didn't answer, he asked for my phone. he went through my text messages with her and even went through my Facebook messages.

They look through phone messages also to see if there is any talk about looking for work or having a job to do there. Even just talk about helping her brother re-decorate his house or something like that can have you sent back as that is considered work. For frequent visitors or longer-stay visitors one of the first questions in the CBP officer's mind is "how can they afford this?"

 

I was regularly asked how much money I had with me.

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Thanks for sharing and did you have a problem with your partner by this time or everything was fine? We have some issues now.
