What info can they give me and what do they know?

Will they know if my rescheduled interview has been cancelled and forwarded to the new field office?

Thank you guys!

Tier 1 support, the first people you speak with, are contractors who know nothing other than the same information you can look up yourself on your online case status.

Tier 2 support, who are actual immigration officers, have access to information that neither you nor tier 1 do, and may be able to help you.

If/when you call, ask to be transferred to a tier 2 representative.

Thank you for your response.

I'll give it a go. I haven't got my cancellation notice yet and am nervous, although my attorney says it's fine I can't rest until I know for sure haha

At the very least you can call and ask.

I think they're open until 8pm on a weeknight, but don't quote me. It might be 6pm. It's been five years since I was unfortunate enough to need to call them.

I think that they close at 6. I'll likely call them tomorrow. The scheduled interview date isn't until the 20th so I have time. Although the interview was only allegedly cancelled 2 weeks ago, so I could be a little impatient expecting to have received a notice. Might be worth waiting until the end of the week

I gave them a call and the tier 2 officer says that on the system there's nothing so say my interview ever got rescheduled even though I got a letter and it doesn't say that it's been transferred so he submitted a request to my local field office to find out what's going on! Thank you for your help :)
