Flown through this airport many times.

A police officer was in critical condition after being stabbed Wednesday morning at the international airport in Flint, Michigan, authorities said.

A government source told CBS News that an airport police officer was stabbed in the back and neck in the public part of the main terminal at Bishop International Airport. A suspect was in custody, the source said.

The Michigan State Police said the officer was in critical condition.

"Please keep the officer in your prayers," state police said on Twitter.

Any updates on this?

Edit: Actually, here's more info, and it's hilarious because CNN is once again in the spotlight for their dumb method of reporting "news".

CNN’s Twitter account tried to get away with saying the Flint airport stabber “said something in Arabic” right before he attacked a policeman, but fellow social media users quickly corrected the network Wednesday.
Reports indicated that witnesses heard the stabber shout “Allahu Akbar” before he attacked, but CNN chose to write “something in Arabic” instead.

Yes, it does appear to be an act of terrorism.  I was following this fairly closely all day watching the media and until the FBI had their press conference they were all being fairly cagey.  It has been reported that this guy came from Quebec, so maybe he uttered the phrases in French and they needed to get them translated first.

Thankfully the officer is doing well and no one else was hurt.  The attacker reportedly asked police why they didn't kill him, I suppose he was looking to meet some virgins, but now I think he may be facing something else in prison.

Hope they had some deli ham handy just in case they shot him.
