My wife and I had our interview on 6/5, but we weren't given any kind of decision at the interview. The last Friday we received a notice in the mail that our i-130 had been approved, with a notice date of 6/5. Our lawyer told us that they usually approve the i-130 and i-485 at the same time and to expect the i-485 approval within a day or so. Unfortunately we still haven't heard anything, and nothing has updated online (not even for the i-130, which was last updated online in February).

Has anyone else gotten these approved separately, and if so, how long after the i-130 approval was the i-485 approved? We're really stressing out because we have plans to travel abroad next month, and we're worried that we'll have to cancel the trip (and lose a bunch of money on the airfare). My wife never even received the AP/EAD combo card, and I'm not sure that it would even be safe to travel with that at this point in case the green card were approved while we were abroad (the worry is that this would invalidate the AP/EAD).
