I'm wondering are they making less support centers and moving more people to help at the main USCIS office to maybe help with the backlog .... or is this wishful thinking?

There is nothing to apologize. It was not a big deal, plus i did not even notice during my online searches. It is also surprising that nobody shared such a valuable information here. I talked to someone who was working in the Chinese restaurant in the same strip mall, and he told me that it is closed for several months now...

To the one in Dearborn? I thought they do not do any biometrics in main offices...
