POLICE CERTIFICATE FOR MINOR?

We are getting documentation ready to sent to the NVC for a 13 year old boy.  His Citizen stepdad is applying for him.

I have a question.  Do we need a Police Certificate for him considering that he is a minor?  Or are those certificates required only for adults?

Thanks!

We are on the same boat, but do not have an interview date. If I recall correctly the Police Certificates are not required for minors under the age of 16. So you should be fine.

I can also share that they did not ask for me (the mom) for the Police Report, either. In my interview letter it was stated as UNOBTAINABLE and the officer did not ask for it either. Best of luck during the rest of the process.
