Gm, I sent a service request on the 10th of April USCIS responded on the 11th of April. They said, " If you do not receive a decision or notice of action within 60 days, please contact National Customer Service Center" My questions are. Has anyone ever received a letter like this? Do they always respond within the 60 days? Thank you!

Yes.. standard way of meeting their own deadlines and buying time... likely content of the response which you will get probably on ths 60th day will  be something like

"We are looking onto your case and we will notify you when we have further information" or something similar.

Not much you can do in response to that  They will say they have responded and acted according to their requirements.. technically they have,  but  nothing is progressed..

:(

Remember  that update is at February 28th  some 6 weeks ago. Hopefully by now they are into early September.. so by April 30th they should be processing around October 6th.   Heres hoping anyway!!!

OK, Didn't know that's the way it worked. One time the customer care representative told me not to look at that. It's not important. Why would they put it there anyway?
