can anyone help me please!!! my husband interview is next week? I wounder if he needs the tax return updated  for the interview ? some where i read that he might not need it because his interview is before de brake of the taxes that's 18 of april??... thank you

Hi Cljc,

 

Yes, this may not affect your process in any way. By law you have until April 18 to file 2016 taxes.

 

Even remember that you may file your taxes after this date if you filed a petition for an extension of your tax returns,

thank you, my brother in law that is our sponsor did file the taxes and I send my husband the new updated form to my country weeks ago and it's not there yet .. hopefully they don't ask him an updated form in the interview 😪🤦🏽‍♀️.. what can happen if they ask him for it and he dosent have it.. or what can he say??
