you were suppose to send death certificate when you submitted all your civil and financial documents. May I know when did you petitioned for your mom and how long did it take for you after submitting all the documents to NVC to get the interview call? how long does NVC give you for the interview and the medical?

I did send death certificate to NVC. It is check list in usatraveldocs web site for mumbai consulate of USA. i did speak to lawyer he said you need to submit marriage certificate. I applied Petition my mom on Feb 2015. It got delayed due to

documents i could not submit early. delay from my end only. after that My brother got heart attack. So postpone interview twice. Initial interview got from NVC is May 2016.

Applied:  Feb 2015

interview letter : May 2016.

Total process it will take only one year. If you submit all the documents ASAP. for me getting birth certificate got delayed.

Now I am getting affidavit of  marriage certificate and Non available Marriage certificate letter. I hope this will enough.

Do you have any format for Non available Marriage certificate letter and  affidavit of  marriage certificate. if you have , pl post sample.

Thanks for your reply
