Interview date was February 13, 2017 and we've checked CEAC update status still shows “READY” and nothing has changed since then. It has been 15 working days even though we've emailed and called the Embassy Manila for follow up but still have not received any updates to-date either. How long do we have to wait whether the visa was approved or not? The consul officer didn't tell her she was approved or denied, but said they might contact her for additional information. The only thing they gave her was a pamphlet on domestic violence and instructions to verify the address for visa delivery at ustraveldocs.

Any advise would be helpful.

Keeping her passport is good sign.

My partner got same documents after his interview; but they told him he was approved. We received visa and passport back within about 8-9 days.

Sounds like they may just be reviewing some paperwork before issuing.

CEAC changes now and then, a little odd it hasn't gone to AP yet. Ours was "Ready for interview" then "Ready(Open status), then "AP", then "Issued" all within about 5-6 days.

I would just be patient at this point until you hear from the embassy or CEAC changes.

Thank you @Ben&Zian Suffice it to say and you're right CEAC does change every now and then, it's just a little odd it hasn't been updated since the status keeps indicating as "Ready" even though we've been closely monitoring it everyday for the past 2 weeks or so now.

We're quite anxious at this point as to when we'd hear from the embassy or if CEAC changes somehow and hoping the visa will be released for delivery soon...

They kept my wife's passport but told her she was approved and she also was given the pamphlet on domestic violence. The CO told her she should get her visa in about 5-10 days. Have you tried contacting the embassy?

Hi @J&EWoo good for you! Yes, we've been calling the Embassy almost everyday as I've mentioned on my initial post here then we've checked the visa status online as well but they weren't able to provide any info other than the case is still open which shows "Ready".

HELP!!!

After a dreadful wait for visa approval, fiance has just been called back for 2nd interview!?

Now, we are not sure what do expect at all. My fiancé has booked a flight again to fly all the way to the embassy next week for a second interview. This has been such an emotional drain! We do not know what to expect nor why we would get asked to come in again?!!!!

As a petitioner, I'd have to show up at the 2nd interview with my fiance even if it'd cost me having to take time off from work, let alone airfares and accomodation can be very costly, etc. However, I'm curious to know if they'd allow me to be there during the interview process since they've mainly required to bring proof of relationship. Is it possible that they might not give her an approved visa even though my fiance's passport had already been kept by the CO on the first interview last month? I'm dying to know and any info on this would be appreciated...

Hi... i was interviewed last Feb. 08, unfortunately, i somehow mentioned that i worked in singapore for 2 years (the time when me & my fiance) met and talk online. So they asked me to submit singapore police clearance. After about 2 weeks (should be less than that but because of the poor mailing system in the PH, took them another week to deliver my mail after it arrived from singapore) then when i sent it to the embassy, they asked me to send updated NBI. I was able to send the NBI last week, Thurs. So like you, i am waiting and super anxious if they will finally approved and send my visa.

Will keep you posted and if i won't receive a feedback after 10 days then i will make a follow up.

Goodluck to us!
