Little atore About us ...

We are a gay couple ( two guys ) That met few years ago and decided to start dating . Last year we got engaged and started the process for K1 which we filled on January of 15 and got our visa approved on August 3. My fiancé at the time was a resident of general surgery in Cuba and I am a ER nurse in the USA . He requested permission to travel and was denied. He was supposed to get out of Cuba before February 2 of 2017 and since Cuba regulated all 4 year resident and specialist of certain medical career such as surgery .. He was regulated by immigration and couldn't come during the time his visa was active . As a consequence , my fiancé resigned to his career two weeks before graduating as a general surgeon and works as primary care physician in a mini clinic . We are doing the process  again due to our K-1 does not grant prorrogra. We were told by the embassy to do the process again .. My question is .. What are my chances ?? Has anyone experience something similar like this before ? Any words or any thoughts  please reply .. we have a very good case and we did excellent in our 2 minutes interview which the embassy was very happy .. We were the only gay couple there .. I am excited but scared .. Gay marriage does not exist in Cuba and this is my only way to have him close to me
