Hi!

So im planning on visiting my fiance for a couple of months while my k1 is in process.

We got the NOA1 a couple days ago and the lawyer said the processing time is 5 months so we figured we had time to spend together specially as theres a couple of important events going on since april til middle june (when NOA 2 should come).

This events are:

•his medschool graduation

•His best friend wedding in california

•My wedding dress pick up! ?

•And our house picking - as he will be moving places to start his recidency in july.

We planned to get married in june BUT k1 wont be issued til september(probably) so we decided to push it back til dec.

The problem is that i think he stated the intention to marry in june, thing we WONT do anymore as we want to keep it legal so we dont get trouble.

SO my question is: do you guys think i will have problems entering the us while i have the k1 pending?

I would take my work certificate and will probably attending a logisrics fair as a work duty in april at chicago. Id also take the graduation and wedding invitation and wedding dress contract.

Please answer asap as we want to buy tickets already :)

I visited my Fiance for 2 weeks in October, after we had received my NOA1. We had even received an RFE for more proof. I had no problem at all with immigration and they didn't even comment on my K1 application. I did make sure that I had relevant evidence to show that I wasn't planning on staying just in case. i.e.The return flight tickets, hire car agreement showing the inclusive dates of hire and hotel bookings etc.

We did take the opportunity to collate more evidence of the relationship with pictures etc while I was there.
