Sent copy Short form Birth certificate as Canadian. issue?

Hello, 

 

We recently sent our package and Form I29F. I realized I sent the short from of my Birth certificate which doesn't have my parents' name on it. Im Canadian from B.C.

 

Im going to get the long from right now but can we sent a photocopy separately to the USCIS? or do we have to wait for a RFE?

 

We were hoping to send it and avoid the issue entirely if possible.

 

Your help would be appreciated.

I'd wait for the rfe so not to confuse the adjudicator or possibly have it lost.

Ah. just realized the applicant's birth certificate isnt required when filling out the form. it's the petitioners.
