Ok everyone we just now checked the manila website and they JUST posted the new interviews and our CR1 is set for May 30th.

Case Number: MNL2006XXXXXX

Visa Classification: CR1

St. Luke's Appointment Date: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 (12:00:00 AM)

Embassy Appointment Date: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 (6:30:00 AM)

I had a couple questions about this since our K3 is pending for May 16th. How do we handle this now that we have two going on at once? Do we show up to K3 and request CR1 still or just wait it out till the CR1 interview? And if we wait for CR1 then how do we handle the K3? Do they require some kind of notice we wont attend or what?

Also noticed the time for the interview and med are kind of jacked. I assume we just show up before dawn on the interview date and we can get an early medical anyway, was planning on going in early May anyway.

Also does anyone know how the packet 4 for CR1 is sent and from where? DHL, postal mail etc?

Thank you!!!!! :):):):)

Good Evening Sir:

Cant answer your question regarding the K3 vs CR1 Interview Question. But as to your question on mailing, ours was delivered standard mail (USPS) No special system or procedure.

Hope that helps a little, and I hope you receive a reply from those having done both. I cant, because our K3 is still unapproved, and Lost, dropped, or untouched due to having gotten the CR1 approved first. But anyway...Good Luck Sir.

Randy

Filed: K-3 Visa Country: Philippines
Timeline

You may call the US Embassy about this matter. Tell them that you opted for the CR1 interview since it is around 2 weeks apart, I suggest that you prepare all the docs you need for the CR1 interiew even though you have already sent them to NVC. But the US Embassy in Manila need to check if your CR1 docs is physically with them, so you really need to call them. In case they do not approve your request then, if I were you, I will not attend the K3 visa since on the K3 visa you need to pay another $100 for the DS-156 form.

Go to medical earlier. Well, me I did both K3 and CR1 interview because I only found out that I have my CR1 interview date two days before my K3 visa interview. And now, I regret paying the $100 because up to this day I still don't have my visa yet, I'm on AR and dont know what they need, so frustrating went to both interview CO said I am approved but no visa yet! :ranting:
