Slightly Damaged B2 Visa

I recently noticed some minor water damage on my visa page within my passport. (The picture has been a bit distorted, all the details etc are in perfect condition)

I've had the visa for 5 years and have traveled on it on multiple occasions (There are plenty of stamps etc.)

My problem is that I am travelling to the US next week, I called the embassy and they advised me to apply for a new one or contact border control for their advice. Happy applying for a new one but since I travel next week and the process for applying takes up to one month I am a little stuck.

Have been in touch with a few people and they essentially say it is really just up to the airline/border control on the day whether they accept the visa. Don't seem to have many options!

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
