Looking for a little advice in regards to an RFE I received.

Hello all,

I recently received an RFE requesting I provide a new correctly sized passport photo of myself (The Petitioner). Which I have and am ready to send, however my question is should I also include a new properly sized passport style photo of my wife (The Beneficiary) as both the original photos submitted would be of the incorrect size (We both had them taken at the same place when in Ireland, which i didn't realize used a different standard size) Ideally i would like to send both to avoid sending mine in, then waiting for a second RFE for my wife's photo. But I am unsure if it is appropriate to submit additional evidence that is not specifically requested.

Thanks for any input!

You can always send in extra information. Whether or not it'll prevent a second RFE depends on who's working that particular day and if they pick up on it.

If you send in the second picture, include a "cover sheet" listing the items that you've sent in with the RFE. Specify on one line that you included "correctly sized" pictures of yourself, and on another line "correctly sized" pictures of the beneficiary. It might help them figure it out, and potentially save that second RFE.

Regards,

Bill

Hi!

Yes I would send a new photo of your wife too.

A RFE delays your application so you don't want to wait for a potential second one.

Good luck!
