Been planning to file dcf for a while now but since the philippines takes a very long time to do anything we are still waiting for my wife's ID so we can get the cfo so we can get her passport. My question is, I was convicted of some felonies a long time ago, one of them being aggravated assault, is that going to cause the visa to be denied? We are already married and been living together for almost a year. I was 20 years old at the time and now I'm 35, how can they hold something over my head from when I was young and stupid? I didn't even hit anyone, had a warrant out for me for not paying fines and a cop tried to pull me over so I drove one mile to my parents house so my car wouldn't get impounded and along the way a cop got in my lane and I kept going and they charged me with aggravated assault for that. Will it be a waste of money to apply, or should I just plan to live in the philippines the rest of my life?
